Just starting up my third round (in 2 years) of Stronglifts 5x5. I recommend it to all beginner/intermediate lifters. It’s a perfect strength building program. I like it because I find it uncomplicated and my approach toward strength is simplicity and progressive overload.
Second 5x5 workout this week. Starting off with the weights lower so I know I can add 10 lbs each week for the next couple weeks and get used to this volume.
Today’s workout “B”: (not including warm up sets)
Front squats: 155 5x5
Deadlift: 225x10, 315x5, 325x4 (stronglifts says do deads 1x5 but I like a warm-up set and I added in one extra set for fun cuz I had lots of energy)
OHP: 100 5x5
wide-grip pullups: 1x16, 1x12, 1x12
